Hoy es el Día de la Madre, al menos aquí en España, por lo que hoy voy a hablar de la madre más inspiradora que la historia nos ha dado: María.
Today is Mother's Day, at least here in Spain, so I'll be talking about the most inspiring mother that history has given us: Mary.
María ha sido el modelo de mujer y madre para oradores, literatos, artistas y, por supuesto, madres durante nada menos que 2000 años. ¡Ahí queda eso!
Mary has beer the woman and mother model for speakers, writers, artists and, of course, mothers, for not least than 2000 years. That is that!
Aceptó un embarazo a destiempo, tuvo un parto natural, dio el pecho hasta que el niño se destetó, colechó, hizo todo lo necesario para mantener seguro a su hijo, llegando a aceptar el exilio; le apoyó en todos sus proyectos, incluso cuando no entendía los detalles y estuvo al pie de la cruz, dandole su amor y compañía hasta el final.
She accepted a non-planned pregnancy, had a natural delivery, breastfed her child until natural wean, co-slept, made everything she could to keep her child safe, even go into exile; she supported him in all his projects, even when she didn't understand the details, and stood next to the cross, giving him her love and company until the end.
Y se fio. Se fio de Dios y se fio de sí misma, de su instinto, de su capacidad y de su hijo.
She trusted. She trusted God and she trusted herself, her instinct, capability and her son.
Decidme que no es un ejemplo a seguir, tengas las creencias que tengas.
She is clearly an example, no matter ones beliefs.

ResponderEliminarA mi las madres que me inspiran son todas aquellas mujeres que a lo largo de la historia de la humanidad han sacrificado su vida en favor de los demás , olvidando la suya propia , como la Madre Teresa de Calcuta , y otras tantas que realizan labores humanitarias en difíciles condiciones (muchas aunque no sean madres biológicas , cuidan enfermos , niños y personas desfavorecidas con la misma devoción) . Son realmente admirables.
Ella se lo merece.
